Marinate in the clarity. Then act.

This time of year is straight up weird. At least for me. There is a burst of excitement that comes with the new year and all the possibilities it holds, yet there is also a conflicting desire to go inward, to ease into the year at a slower pace, and to let the dust settle from the previous year in order to see more clearly how you have changed.

The slowness and reflection allows for an anchoring in of the wisdom earned (sometimes hard earned) from the year before.

Initially I wanted this newsletter to hold several new meditations to support you during these uncanny times, but my internal rhythm has been like, nope, not yet ready to go into production.

Instead I am in an organize and prepare for what is to come. A find and then hold the clarity of what I actually want, and who I actually want to be. And a let my nervous system marinate in this clarity, and then act from this aligned place…

February 1st is the Lunar New Year. It is also Imbolc, which symbolizes moving from the dark season of winter into spring. It is a powerful time, and I often find the time when outward movement really begins.

January is a wonderful time to build up your reserves, to nurture yourself and create the stamina and well-being for the movement that is sure to come. So the health boom at the beginning of the year truly does serve us. Just remember how important sleep and rest are to your health!

Wishing you a joyous love filled year ahead.

LOVE!

(speaking of natural cycles, make sure to check out the podcast I just did with My Moontime, it’s below!)

Thank you Dana Michelle Gillespie creator of My Moontime for guiding this conversation. I loved speaking all things breathwork with you and how loving, gentle and supportive this practice is!

If you know anyone curious about breathwork meditation, this podcast is a great entry conversation, so definitely share it with them =) And if you are unfamiliar with My Moontime, also definitely worth checking out. This app doesn’t just help you track your cycle, it helps you tap into the biological wisdom that exists within you. I say it often, because it is true, these bodies we are operating are fascinating and brilliant, and we have only just begun to discover what they are truly capable of.
