To clarify, alive does not mean you are cheery and have a smile always upon your face.
Alive means you feel.
Feel it all.
From the depth of sadness, rage, anxiety and fear, to the inner knowing that is whispering to you, love is here. Lean in and be amazed by the miracles unfolding.
Whether it is close to home or it feels a little more distant for you, right now death is present for all of us.
For me, death highlights how precious this life is.
To be alive is a gift. So yes. I believe this is the time where we come alive.
Where we acknowledge the f*cked up and the magical. The pain and the joy.
Because both exist, and to be alive is to feel it all.
It won't always be so extreme. But right now it is. And all we can really do is give ourselves and those around us space to ride these waves of emotions.
Space to be human.
The human heart is what makes you so uniquely you. Let it feel all it wants to feel.
It's time to set your heart free.
