Grounding into a Sense of Safety

Whew.  I don’t have words for the start of this year.  My heart goes out to all in LA navigating the devastation.  And my heart goes out to all of humanity as we face the pain and fear of what can feel like a perpetual loop of destruction and heartbreak on our planet.

For the days surrounding the New Year, I was fortunate to be off the grid on a breathwork retreat where each morning I had the space to watch the sun crest the mountain as I communed with the nature around me.  Anchoring into the sacredness of life, I felt inspired and enlivened by the life that sat before me and the possibilities for us all.  As we closed out the retreat, our hearts open in deep connection, David Elliott, the leader of the retreat, reminded us “this is the real world.”

Entering back into my day to day life, with the onslaught of world events feeling to be coming quicker and quicker, it’s amazing how quickly the fear and the sadness starts to feel like the real world.  It’s so easy to get swept up in it all and forget the sacredness of the life before me.  It takes discipline to come back to an open heart and a trust that the connection between all of our hearts is the actual real world and together we will all prevail.

Thank you for being in my life.  Online Monthly Breathwork classes pick up this Sunday January 12th with a theme of Grounding into a Sense of Safety.  And while this was meant to just be the theme for January, this is also I believe meant to be a theme woven throughout this entire year.

If you are in LA and being affected by the fires, please join as my guest this Sunday.  Simply use code COMP2025.  And feel free to pass along to any friends.

Earth, Sun, Breath, Hydration, Connecting to your Spirit.  The elements are on your side to support you in navigating these times!

LOVE,

Eliza
